International Direct Dialing (IDD) Service
Subscribers can access IDD facilities by dialing:

Operator Assisted Calls Service
Subscribers who do not have IDD facilities can place international calls through the operator service. To make an international call, dial:



Charging of International Calls
Local Calls (Same District)
IDD calls will be charged at 6 second blocks.
Operator Assisted calls will be charged at minimum rate which covers up to three minutes conversation after which each additional minute or part of a minute, will be one minute charge.

There are 4 rates for both IDD and Operator Assisted:
1. Standard Rate
2. Reduced Rate
3. Weekend Rate
4. Public Holiday Rate

Standard Rate
It is a rate charged for a call made during the period other than the time specified for the reduced rate, weekend rate and public holiday rate.

Reduced Rate
This rate is available between specific time everyday. The charge is the same as that for the weekend rate. A call is charged based on time that the call starts. The call that starts during normal rate and extends to reduced rate will be chraged a normal rate and vice versa.

Weekend Rate
This weekend rat is applicable for calls made between 6:00pm on Saturday until 7:00am on Monday.

Public Holidays Rate
The publich holidays rate is applicable for calls made between 12 midnight until 7:00am the next day.

BILL
An official bill for every calling number will furnish the following information:
DATE-TIME-CALLED COUNTRY-CALLED NUMBER (Country Code, Area Code and Telephone Number) - DURATION AND CHARGE will be given for every international call whether direct dialled or operator assisted.

International Call Assistance
If you have difficulty in completing an international call either by IDD or by Booking Method (01 + Country Code + Area Code + Called Subscriber's Number), please call International Assistance "122".

Public Call Office Facility
International calls may be made from the public telephone booths at Telekom HQs, kadai TelBru and International Airport during office hours. International calls can also be made from Public Payphones by using phonecards and prepaid cards which are sold at all TelBru counter and the appointed phonecard agents.
