One-way data communications sent to a user with a pager service. Data send could consists of a phone number to call, a short message, or an information update.

How to make a paging call

If someone want to contact you through your pager , it can be done direct by using a push-button telephone.

To Page Directly

Dial Pager number Listen for " beep " tone Key Key message number Key Listen for " beep " tone (to indicate paging accepted)

  • Any wrong numbers keyed in can be corrected as long as the last * (asterisk) button has not been keyed.
    Example
    *1235 (Wrong message)
  • To correct this, re-key * followed by correct message i.e. *12345**

Shorter Paging Procedure

  1. This procedure enables the caller to display the telephone number he/she called from on the other party's pager.
    Dial Pager number Listen for " beep " tone Key Listen for " beep " tone (To indicate paging accepted)

  2. Replace the telephone handset.
  3. The message displayed on the pager will be calling telephone number.

This procedure can be used from any telephone except for payphone, PABX, other "barred" phones.

Paging by using Hallo Kad / Gold Global Calling Card (GGCC)

Dial 1800-1111 or 1800-2222 when using Hallo Kad or when using GGCC dial 1800-8888

  • Enter card number
  • Press # key
  • Press 0 (Local call)
  • Enter pager number: 08 521752 (for example)
  • Beeping tone
  • Enter your telephone number: 06-823345* or 03-143 or 04-2223
  • Beeping tone

* 06 stands for the number of digits to be displayed in the pager and 823345 is the mobile number (6 digits)

Customer have to pay an annual fee of $60 for Easy Page Scheme of $120 for Business Page Scheme. The yearly bill will be sent annually.
