Celebration for all as TelBru turns 4

A myriad of exciting activities have been planned to usher in TelBru’s 4th Anniversary celebrations for the months of April and May. Themed ‘TelBru 4 U… Celebrating Our Anniversary With You’, promotions, lucky draws, bazaars and other charitable events have been organised to celebrate its fourth anniversary since incorporatisation in 2006.

As with previous years, TelBru organised a Majlis Doa Kesyukuran Sembahyang Fardhu Maghrib and Isyak Berjemaah on Wednesday for its staff to bless the beginning of a new year. Approximately 200 TelBru staff gathered at the Surau Wakaf TelBru to perform the Maghrib prayers, which was followed by a recital of doa selamat led by Haji Salleh bin Haji Sabli, an imam from Kg Lumapas.

To mark the actual day of TelBru’s 4th Anniversary, which falls on 1st April, a Customer Appreciation Day was held at the TelBru headquarters on Old Airport Road. Hundreds of customers thronged the event, where refreshments and many games with goodies were given away on the day. Besides giving a treat to the customers, TelBru also feted its staff by awarding ‘Best Customer Representative’ awards to its best performing staff.

During the the event, the newest branch of TelBru’s flagship ‘one-stop’ telecommunication centers, Kadai TelBru, was launched by the chief guest and Chairman of TelBru Board of Directors, Dato Paduka Haji Othman Haji Ya’akub at the Old Airport Road headquarters. The concept store is aimed at providing customers a positive and comprehensive retail experience with TelBru.

Throughout the month, TelBru will be holding more Customer Appreciation Days at its headquarters in all the districts, with Belait HQ celebrating on 8th April, followed by 14th April in Tutong HQ and 22nd April in Temburong HQ.

To start the celebration on a high note, TelBru has also announced yesterday that it will upgrade and increase the bandwidth of all its valued e-Speed subscribers starting on the 1st of April. By increasing the bandwidth for all users, this will no doubt bring much joy to all BruNet users in the country as the significant upgrade will ensure users will have greater broadband experience.

Meanwhile, for those who dream to win a package holiday to Kuala Lumpur for two, winning a brand new LCD TV or other prizes will be delighted to participate in TelBru 4th Anniversary Lucky Draw which is open to all customers who pay their bills in full anytime in the month of April.

There are more good news for TelBru customers in the form of promotions for products and services throughout the month of April. New e-Speed subscribers now stand to receive a 3-in-1 Zyxel modem, while new fixed line subscribers may purchase Panasonic and NEC telephones at a 50% discount. Users of prepaid cards will not be left out as they will be rewarded with bonuses, such as receiving complimentary cards for every purchase of $20 WAVE cards and $10 Payless Cards.

Playing its part in supporting the community, this year TelBru will once again hold a blood donation drive in collaboration with RIPAS Hospital to encourage its staff and the public to play their part in saving lives through the noble gesture. This event, to be held on 21st April at TelBru’s Old Airport HQ, is open to the public. At the same time, TelBru’s ‘Let’s Give Back’ initiative this month is hoped to bring joy to the children and members of Pusat Bahagia on Jalan Pulaie through monetary and in-kind support provided by TelBru and the public. The ‘Let’s Give Back’ campaign aims to provide assistance to selected charity organisations each month throughout the whole year.

The main highlight of this year’s anniversary will be the TelBru 4 U Bazaar, which is set on the 1st and 2nd of May at the Jerudong Amphitheater. The two-day event will feature fun activities, games, performances and entertainment for everyone, suitable for young children and adults alike. This round-the-clock event is an event not-to-be missed as plenty of attractive promotions and goodies awaits.
