TelBru Anugerah Pelangi 08-09 'Meet the Star's Contest at Hi-Tea Reception

Fans of local artistes who won the `Meet The Stars' contest in conjunction with the Pelangi Awards 2008/2009, which took place two weeks ago, had the opportunity to spend time with their favourite artists yesterday during a hi-tea reception at the Empire Hotel and Country Club.

The event was also held to honour and celebrate the winners' achievements in the local music scene and fans were treated to a special performance by the awardees, among which include `Chosen Female Vocalist' Maria, `Chosen Male Vocalist' Fakhrul Razi, `Chosen Newcomer' A Band Once, `Chosen Duo/Group' - The Seeds and the talented individuals behind this year's chosen song, 'Tentang Kita' Adie and Waem.

TelBru was the main sponsor for Anugerah Pelangi 2008/2009, which proved to be a tremendous success as more than 3,000 local music supporters thronged the Jerudong Park Amphitheatre to witness electrifying music performances by local artistes on October 31.

The hi-tea served as a platform for the fans to mingle and take advantage of the endless photo opportunities with the artistes, as well as getting autographs from the them TelBru's `Meet the Stars' contest proved popular amongst members of the crowd that visited the TelBru booth during the full-house awards ceremony, where participants had-to-guess the winning artistes of each award category.
