TRANSBORNEO Project
• TelBru signed tripartite agreement with East Malaysian carriers, Sacofa of Sarawak and Celcom Timur Sabah (CT Sabah) on 10 January 2008.
• This agreement enables the members to benefit from joint business opportunities in the fields of internet IP transit, voice and data services from the TransBorneo Network.
 
BruNet IP Transmit Bandwidth
• Upstream IP PoP providers has grown exponentially from a modest 128kbps in 1995 to 5x155Mbps (775Mbps) by early 2008.
• All of TelBru’s IP Transit links were routed via SEA-ME-WE 3 submarine cable system. Alternatively, TelBru has a secure diversity route through the use of Telekom Malaysia’s (TM) domestic cable and Malaysian submarine networks (MalDom). Hence, improving Internet diversity route and availability to Brunei Darussalam.

• TelBru Voice Wholesale leverages on TelBru comprehensive international infrastructure to offer a wide range of quality wholesale voice services at highly competitive rates. 
 

Asia America Gateway (AAG) Submarine Cable System
• Asia-America Gateway (AAG) is a new submarine cable system that will connect Brunei Darussalam with Malaysia and the USA via Hong Kong, the Philippines, Guam and Hawaii, with branches into Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
• It will use the latest Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technologies with a minimum design capacity of 1.28 terabit/s.
• AAG is designed to provide a high degree of inter- connectivity with the existing and future bandwidth systems.
