What is High Speed Broadband (HSBB)?

High Speed Broadband (HSBB) is a new technology that uses fibre optic cable instead of copper cable to deliver telephone & broadband services.

Fibre optic cable is able to offer much faster download and upload speeds than copper wires.

Unlike copper, where broadband speed drops off significantly within a few kilometres of the exchange, fibre delivery enables high broadband speeds for up to 25Km from the exchange.
