Data plus is the acronym for Data Packet Link usage Service. It provides a common public network for simultaneous use by a number of varied data terminals and computers users, and to facilitate the interconnection of equipment of various origin.

ACCESS TO DATA PLUS
To be connected to Data Plus, you require the following:

Line Connection
Dedicated access by being permanently connected to a port giving immediate access at any time via dedicated line, or Dial up access through public switched telephone network (PSTN) using telephone line, or Telex access by calling telex access port.

Modem
Dedicated modems are installed for dedicated accesswhile dial up modems are installed for dial up access by user. A recommended list of approved types of leased and dial up memos can be obtained with the application forms. Customers shall provide all the necessary modems to avoid any incompatibility problems.

Communication Software
User terminals must be equipped with the required communication software.

TO SET UP CALLS
Dialing access code from a packet user to another packet user within Data Plus is "2X XXXX".

Dialing access code from a packet user in Data Plus to another international packet user is "0" followed by the Data Network Identification Code and the Called User Number.

APPLICATIONS
Application form for Data Plus can be obtained from the Customer Services Section of TelBru. The applicant shall sign a contract of agreement with TelBru.
